Our felt shapes and balls come pre-made from a womans shelter; they get their felt from 100% natural wool (sourced from New Zealand sheep).

Here at I’ve Got You Under My Skein, we take the felt shapes and balls (created by our skilled felt artisans) and string them together to make the beautiful garlands you see on our website. Each garland is 100% unique, and that’s what makes them such a fun gift/decoration!

Yes, to both! All our felt artisans are well-trained and work in safe, transparent working conditions. Each woman receives a livable wage. No children are allowed to work in the shelter (as child labor is strictly prohibited).

Keeping your felt clean is easy – a simple dry dusting works for day-to-day care/maintenance. If your felt gets dirty, i.e., has a stain, you can clean your felt shapes/garland by using soapy water on a damp cloth; however, do not place water
directly on the felt as it could distort the shape.

Regular dusting/cleaning can ensure the durability of your felt-based products.
